About the Summer School
The school brings together the world's leading experts in the field of nonlinear photonics and emerging photonic technologies to share with young researchers their knowledge and interdisciplinary approaches for understanding and designing complex photonic systems. The school will cover a broad spectrum of problems in different aspects of nonlinear photonics from the fundamental science to practical applications. The school will be structured around comprehensive review talks from major world leading experts in complementary areas of nonlinear photonics both on theory, experiment and applications.

Who are we?
Novosibirsk State University is located at the heart of Akademgorodok, a world-famous research center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It was founded in the 1960s in the Siberian taiga as the birth place for new ideas and technologies. Now it's a world-class research and educational cluster with 35 research institutes, innovative Technopark and the University at the heart of this well-balanced system.

Visa
Most of nationalities will require a visa to enter Russia. Please, check if you need a visa in advance.
If you need a visa, please, plan your application well in advance. You have to apply for a specific visa type -humanitarian visa with a purpose of entry "scientific and technical communications". Note that you cannot enter Russia for the conference if you hold tourist or business visa
