According to the Superjob site, in 2017 the NSU Economics Department ranks 5th in Russia and #1 in Siberia and the Far East for the salary level of graduates in the first years of work. The salary level of graduates indicates a high assessment from employers, shows that our graduates have received knowledge and skills that help them successfully overcome challenges faced by business. On-going communication with businesses and implementation of joint educational and extracurricular projects with potential employers are distinctive features of life in our Department
Future Professional
The Future Professional project includes presentations from dozens of top specialists sharing career and business secrets throughout the academic year. The Department cooperates with the largest Russian and international companies: EY, KPMG, PWC, Deloitte, Sberbank, etc
Case Club
The companies offer courses, internships, scholarships and, working together with the Department, support student initiatives such as the Case Club
Business Case Competitions
Students from the Department are regular participants and win national, regional and international business case competitions for internships, projects and scholarships sponsored by large companies and foundations
Innovative Educational Products
Interaction with business generates the creation of joint innovative educational products aimed at the development of skills needed in the labor market that are accessible to the general public (for example, the course "Data Analysis", developed in cooperation with the 2GIS company
