For students, graduate students, young scientists, and Candidates of Science under the age of 35
The school brings together the Russian leading experts in the field of nonlinear photonics and emerging photonic technologies to share with young researchers their knowledge and interdisciplinary approaches for understanding and designing complex photonic systems.
The school will cover a broad spectrum of problems in different aspects of nonlinear photonics from the fundamental science to practical applications.
The school will be structured around comprehensive review talks from leading experts in complementary areas of nonlinear photonics both on theory, experiment and applications.
LOCATION
Novosibirsk State University is the leading classical university in Novosibirsk. It is located in the world famous research center Akademgorodok. Akademgorodok was built in an uncharted taiga in the 1960s. Over the past 50 years, it has become a respected Russian science center. It currently includes more than 35 research institutes, an innovative technopark "Academpark", and Novosibirsk State University that serves as a key "developer" of young scientists for domestic and world science.
The school will be held in the heart of the Novosibirsk Scientific Center – Akademgorodok – at Novosibirsk State University.

PROGRAM
The detailed program will soon be available.
The school will cover a broad spectrum of problems in different aspects of nonlinear photonics. The topics will range from nonlinear optics, laser physics, optical spectroscopy, optical signal processing, optical sensors, optical parametric processes and new materials for photonic devices. It is planned to have a balanced mix of fundamental theory, experiment and applications and organise a truly interdisciplinary school.
It is planned to have a mix of tutorials (one hour) and invited talks (45 minutes) over 6 days. We aim to select up to 30 young advanced researchers, both PhD students and postdocs
